December 16: Top Ten Books I Read In 2014

I’m going with just Top Ten random books I’ve read this year! There from different genre… so here’s my Top Ten!

The order doesn’t matter…. So here we go!

——————-

Susan EE is easily one on my new favorite Authors I have found this year. Her writing style is simple but pulls me in making me have to read, needing to know what is going to happen next.

The Raven Boys is on that seem to being getting read more and more. I’m glad about that because I enjoyed this story!

——————-

Legend! What can I say it only took me a few days to finish this book. That is how much I enjoyed it! The lead characters is strong & able to hold the story with no boring parts.

Far From You is one I read at the start of the year and still think about it. I enjoy this book as a whole. There were a few parts that felt like it was repeating itself but it fits into the story and plot making it a whole.

—————–

The Giver… The review is coming this Friday! So, come back to learn what I thought of it!

Fangirl! I’m suck a fangirl when it comes to this book. I even have Fangirl background on my tablet right now! There are so many line from this story I just love!

—————–

Cinder… man where to start! I love, love, love this book and the world, its characters! I  mean, there wasn’t a part of the story I found to be slow or unneeded. This story is a whole with a cliffhanger!

Kat Green is one of my favorite top ten authors I’ve found this year! I just love her, her book, and writing, I can NOT wait for the next book. Review coming soon!

—————-

The Fault in Our Stars… well, lets just say this is one I could see reading and quoting for many more years to come!

Please leave you link I would love to read yours! Thank you for stopping by and reading my list!

  1. I was really disappointed by Fangirl. I hated that she had to “grow up” out of fandom, instead of finding a way to make it a healthy part of her life. I felt really let down, because it’s supposed to be like a love song to fandom?

How did you feel about the end? I’m curious.

    • Thanks for stopping by.
I understand where you coming from. I felt that the story just ending, that there was not really any close to the story. I still loved the story as there are many parts I can relate to but like I said, it kinda just ended.

      • I hadn’t thought of that. Her processing her trauma through ~literary fiction was legitimate, but I saw it as a dismissal of her fannish interests. Maybe I would have liked it better if it continued on a bit from there. Like you said, it just kinda… stops.

      • Right, it just stops doesn’t really warp the story. I feel that maybe it would finished up the plot better. I mean I enjoyed it and I’m a fan of it but I can see where people say that the ending kinda just stops. That’s how I fell about it.
